Pilot review: The Knights of Prosperity (ABC)
Type: half-hour sitcom
Tuesday 9/8c starting Fall
People:
* Donal Logue (Grounded for life)
* Sofia Vergara
* Lenny Venito
* Maz Jobrani
Plot:
The show formerly known as "let's rob Mick Jagger". At first, I though this was going to be YADLMC: Yet Another Donal Logue Mediocre Comedy. After I finished watching though, I'm actually wondering what will be in the next episodes.
The assemble quite a weird crew to do the actual robbing, so I think it'll be fun to see how and if they can pull it off. Mick Jagger cameo's as himself, seeming to have a lot of fun doing that. Maz Jobrani is as funny as anything he appears in on tv. Lenny Venito is you standard New Yorker type. And Sofia Vergara is hot.
Strangely enough, that could be a winning combination...
